Religious Education

We have developed our own curriculum with the intention of promoting our spiritual, moral, social and cultural development. As a church school, we have a strong focus on Christianity, along with acknowledging and appreciating the teachings, and practices of the other principal religions, that are largely represented in our multicultural British society.

Our aim is that our children acquire an awareness and understanding of differing religious beliefs, attitudes, practices and rituals. We want children to access Religious Education through a wide range of mediums, for example: analysing religious writings, drama, art, in-depth discussions and stories.

Through this, we hope to install and enrich good morals in our children which can then be used throughout their life.
