The visit to the church, which was delivered and guided by Fr Alan Thompson was not just to visit the soldier buried there, but to learn about the community and its journey through the War. This included special remembrance of those who had lost their lives, as well as learning about the houses which were rebuilt in the community. We discovered and looked at parts of the church which were rebuilt or restored as a result of damage in the War.
